Slow Violence in Our Home

Visual Slow Violence in Our Home

The Youth scientist team is a group of high school students who research slow violence in the Reno/Sparks community. Slow violence are events that are neglected for long periods of time that cause issues in our environment such as climate change. Slow violence is oftentimes invisible to the naked eye, however the issues caused by slow violence are not invisible at all. The youth scientists are using photo voice in order to make slow violence visible before it becomes an issue.
