Coptic Stitch Bookbinding

In this class we will be using the Coptic stitch to bind our own hand decorated journals. We will begin the class by designing our hard covers with material I will provide, but if you have anything fabric or paper you would like to use (just needs to be thick enough to glue without any leaking), then learning to bind your book. By the end of the class, you will have your very own 9.5 x 6.5' hardbound journal. All materials will be provided to borrow, but if you feel inspired to continue bookbinding, all of the materials can be purchased at Nevada Fine Arts.
