56th Annual Reno Basque Festival

Will perform traditional folk dances along with informal dancing instruction for the public. Musicians will interpret vocal and instrumental Basque melodies. Watch weightlifting and woodchopping exhibitions. The public can participate in a weight carrying competition. Children can enter a bota drinking event. Listen to improvisational poetry in the Basque's ancient language of Euskera. Foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Souvenirs can be purchased.
