Join Susan Lester for a pine needle weaving project suitable for beginners or those who have woven with pine needles before. We live near an endless supply of weaving material. Take a walk anywhere near Tahoe and come home with your next project's materials. We will discuss the preparation of the needles and weave a small tray. This project uses a wooden mandala base and waxed linen thread. Susan will have variety of painted bases and your choice of regular or dyed pine needles. Please bring a pair of small sharp scissors, everything else will be provided. Ages 15+. Pre-registration required
