Long time Reno-based El Gigante de la Cumbia band. Ritmo Ardiente's story begins in 2005 in Reno, Nevada when Ricky Salazar, founder and vocalist aimed to assemble a family band. His profound passion for music and desire to perform stemmed from his parents' dream to become artists. This motivated the Salazar family to embark in a music-filled lifestyle- and what began as a hobby with humble beginnings, quickly became the talk of the town. Ritmo Ardiente was soon driven to deliver a high quality sound to diverse audiences for private parties, company functions, cultural festivals, and nightlife. They mastered the art of audience engagement and capitalized on the fusion of cumbia and regional Mexican beats. Ritmo Ardiente translates to “burning rhythm thus are recognized by their explosive energy, dynamic stage presence, and professional sound execution. Through their music, Ritmo Ardiente continues to make people dance with joy and uplift the human spirit.
