Gospel Fest 2025 presents C.R.E.A.T.E. a vibrant and inclusive event, celebrating the rich tradition of gospel music while also incorporating contemporary elements. This year, Gospel Fest will take place on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 beginning at 7:00pm at the Robert Hawkins Amphitheater. Our featured headliners are Grammy Award Winner Steve Lawrence & Reno legend, Dr. Jesse Hall. Steve is recognized as one of the leading music producers/arrangers, worship leaders and music teachers of our generation. Legendary recording artist Kirk Franklin simply calls Steve Lawrence “the best.” Dr. Jesse Hall has a long history and interest in gospel music. Dr. Hall brought together choir members from many churches to create the Interfaith Gospel Choir. This was an annual event that had its start at the Pioneer Theater and lasted twenty-five years. He plays, sings, and composes gospel music and has produced 25 annual community gospel concerts. This year C.R.E.A.T.E. will host a three day workshop prior to the concert that will include classes for music and dance at Word Of Life Ministries Inc, located at 3160. N. Truckee Lane. Attendees can expect a dynamic and soul-stirring performance with the fusion of music, dance that fosters Gospel music as a historical art form to the Reno/Sparks Community.
