The best camera we can own is our own eyes. However, they're not very good at retaining an image. This is where the camera comes in. Whether you use a cell phone or a digital Hasselblad, the camera is the mechanical device that, combined with the right lens, captures what your mind's eye sees and makes it available for posterity.
