Historic Nevada State Hospital HRPS Walking Tour
Visit the site of Nevada's first state hospital (originally the Nevada Insane Asylum) at Galetti Way and Glendale Avenue in Sparks, one of the state's oldest institutions. The tour will include a look at the remaining Frederic DeLongchamps' buildings, a walk by the approximately 100-year-old Stone House, and a visit to the hospital cemeteries. Park in the circular driveway on the Galetti Way side. Meet at the Nevada historical marker. Guide: Brett Banks.
