This class will teach you the basics for creating quality images of your art that you can use to make Giclee or other quality prints for resale or to use in the promotion of your work on social media, etc. this is a hands on class and you are welcome to bring a piece or two of your work, and you will learn professional techniques for capturing the best rendition of your art. Bring a camera with you (even if all you have is a smart phone) If you have a nicer camera, bring that as well. Kevin LeVezu is a professional photographer in Reno and you will be utilizing his studio at the Generator for this class. The following topics will be discussed: - Print Quality - Camera Choice and pros and cons of various cameras - digital file quality and size - Editing Software and basic editing skills - Color correction - Lighting techniques - solving for reflections in art - sending in files for print and copyright concerns Hands on practice: - Picking your location to shoot - Choosing your lighting (from very basic to professional lighting) - Taking picture with the camera they have - Depending on class size we may have folks edit their pictures
