Beginning Silversmithing- Stackable Rings

Copper Cat Studio is excited to host guest artist/instructor and gemologist Mandi Wirtanen of Mandalynn Jewelry Designs for this great entry level silversmithing workshop. Once you dive into ring-making, you'll be hooked! In this introductory silversmithing class, you'll practice essential soldering techniques using a torch. Learn how to create perfectly fitted rings, add texture to your band, and set small stones into a pre-made bezel setting on two of your custom creations. By the end of the workshop, you'll have crafted three beautiful rings: two featuring stones and one classic hammered band. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the art of soldering silver! All supplies are included. This workshop is appropriate for ages 16+. Class is limited to ten students and pre-registration is required. Can't make it to class on this date?
