Beginning Silversmithing- Wide Band Ring

Copper Cat Studio is exited to host Mandi Wirtanen of Mandalynn Jewelry Designs for this beginner level silversmithing class. Join us for an exciting morning where you'll discover the art of metal cutting and master essential soldering techniques using a torch. Throughout this hands-on experience, you'll learn to create a beautifully fitted wide band textured ring featuring a preset bezel and gemstone. Beginners will work with sterling silver, while those with prior soldering experience can opt for 14 karat gold filled material. The workshop fee includes all necessary materials for sterling silver; however, if you choose to work with gold filled, there will be an additional charge that can be settled on the day of the class. Dive into the world of jewelry making and unleash your creativity! This workshop is appropriate for ages 16+ and pre-registration is required. Class size limited to ten students.
