Stained Glass Pressed Flower Suncatcher

Copper Cat Studio welcomes Amy and Vanessa of A Glass Fantasy for a special ARTOWN edition of their monthly block of Stained Glass Classes. We have four consecutive days of our most popular stained glass project workshops! In this workshop you'll learn how to incorporate pressed flowers into your stained glass pieces. For this workshop your flowers will be pressed between a bevel and a precut piece of glass and you'll have a variety of shapes, sizes and colors to choose from. Participants will get a brief tutorial on how to press flowers, then they will learn how to use a glass grinder, a special trick to help keep the moisture out, how to copper foil, solder and then clean their pieces. Each participant will leave with a finished hanging around 3”-4” depending on the bevel picked. This class is limited to six students, preregistration requred. Ages 15+.
