Myself/My Space explores the intersection of identity and environment through the dynamic medium of collage. Featuring a diverse collection of 2D and 3D mixed-media works, this exhibition invites artists to deconstruct and reconstruct their sense of self and surroundings, layering materials, textures, and imagery to create deeply personal narratives. Through collage—a process of fragmentation and assembly—artists navigate themes of memory, perception, and transformation. Each piece serves as a self-portrait or a reflection of space, revealing how personal and external landscapes shape identity. Whether intimate or expansive, abstract or literal, these works challenge traditional portraiture and environmental representation, offering new perspectives on the ways we see ourselves in the world. Join us from June 30 – July 31, 2025, at the Truckee Meadows Community College Main Gallery on the Dandini Campus, with an opening reception on July 9th from 5-7 PM. This show not only celebrates individuality and artistic experimentation but also provides an opportunity for collectors to take home a piece of these unique perspectives.
