Along the River's Edge

The self guided sculpture garden tour features a number of artists and their creations in a beautiful garden along the Truckee River including several notable features from the old Mapes Hotel Casino. Assembly art sculptures include Cranky Bird, Cock Yard Bird, Solo Dancer, Mirror Man and many more. Ryan Jackson's Pan's Perch, a large tree made from recycled steel, that was brought to the River School Farm from the 2007 Burning Man event. New this year is a full size metal horse created by Adrian Landon, a metal art sculptor noted for his Burning Man creations including the famous mechanical horse Pegasus. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy the many sculptures in a lovely garden setting.
