Barbershop Music Concert
The Reno Silver Dollar Chorus, the region's premier men's barbershop ensemble, will offer a free concert, 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 357 Clay St., in Reno. The a cappella chorus, established 50 years ago, will be joined by High Desert Harmony female chorus, harmonizing tunes from barbershop's late-19th-century origin to modern-day favorites. $10 donations are requested.
