The Reno Musician's Collective presents a special night of music and stories featuring Chris Coxon, Sue Coxon, and Alese Linder. Chris Coxon has been playing guitar since the age of eight, and involved with music on and off throughout his whole life, whether working on solo projects, playing in bands, or writing and recording, it is the home to which he's most often returned. Since moving to Reno a couple of years ago, music has taken a back seat as Chris has been preoccupied with building a business, developing a new invention and skiing… a lot of skiing. But now, as so many times before, music is calling him home once more! Transplanted from England, Sue Coxon has found a musical home and heart right here in Reno. Inspired by all the incredible musicians she has met, Sue is busy writing songs, and performing them wherever and whenever she gets the chance! Alese Linder is a singer-songwriter who was raised on a diet of 90's alternative music and the masterful story-telling of songbirds like Jewel and Sarah McLachlan. She has been singing since she can remember and writing songs for the past 15 years, alchemizing the heartbreak of her life into healing melodies of light. One message resounds to the hurting and the broken: keep going and you'll find joy. When she's not doing something around music, she's likely hanging with her dog Darla, organizing all the things, or plotting her next adventure.
