Copper Cat Studio welcomes artist instructor, Ruth Gault for this fun intro to Paint Pouring. Dutch Pour Painting is an extremely fun form of abstract painting. This technique uses air to manipulate paints on a surface. This fluid art technique doesn't require an abundance creativity and is fun as well as extremely addictive! Every paint pour creation comes out entirely unique. In this workshop, instructor Ruth Gault will give students a lecture on materials, tools and techniques. Students will make a practice coaster to get a feeling of how to create this beautiful flowing technique, then you will make a gorgeous set of four coasters for your home or to give as a gift. Coasters need to thoroughly dry before they are sealed and Ruth will go over different products you can use at home to finish the coasters including the glossy resin shown in the pictures. This class is appropriate for ages 14+. All supplies are included. Class size is limited to eight students. Coasters need to be left for at least 24 hours to dry.
