Copper Cat Studio Felting Instructor Melissa Swanson of Wishless World brings this new class offering to round out our Artown roster of workshops for July! Creating felt via the wet felting method has been around since about 6500 BC. With a bit of water, soap, and knowledge you can create your own fabrics too. Students will use soft marino wool, along with fun additives like nepps and silk to create a small bowl. These bowls have many uses but my favorite is that they are a gentle place to store jewelry overnight. This class is a great introduction into welt felting and very beginner friendly. Class is limited to eight students and pre-registration is required. Ages 14+
