Learn how to make soap from scratch that will turn every bathing experience into a spa experience for your senses. This is a hands-on class where you will be guided by Kathy Howard, a state-certified science teacher through the steps in basic soap making. Kathy will go over soap making recipes so that students can continue making soaps at home! This is a great class to take with a friend, as we will pair up to make a pound of soaps. Depending on soap mold size, each student makes at least five bars of soap.We are excited to offer a follow up advanced soap-making class in August and this is the perfect chance to get the prerequisite class under your belt! As always, all materials and tools are included in your class experience at Copper Cat Studio. This class is appropriate for ages 14+. Class size is limited to 8 students, pre-registration is required.
