Digital Art Showcase at Reno Art Loft

A showcase of digital art on the blockchain, animation, holograms, augmented reality, and live artist talks. Digital art has been difficult for artists to sell for decades until it became possible to mint works on the blockchain - animation, virtual 3D sculptures, or motion graphics that were never possible to sell in a gallery on a canvas. Blockchain art has opened up a whole new medium for performance artists, generative artists, process artists, animation artists, and motion graphics designers to be able to express themselves and connect with art collectors. Works displayed will be a curated selection of over 100 works from the McQuillen Collection and submissions from local, regional, and international artists. Genres represented will include generative art, performance art, process art, glitch art, 3D art, motion graphics, and other kinetic works that represent the genres that have been empowered by the blockchain. Live artist talks each night at 7:30pm on July 21, 22, and 23. Closing party with cash bar and live DJ on July 24 from 6-10pm.
