Life Drawing Workshop: Emotional Connections

Life Drawing is a cornerstone to any visual artists development. Leave your ego at the door and come to get the experience you're looking for. Join us in a comfortable environment and be accepting (and accepted) exactly as you are. Each drawing will both challenge and excite you as you learn to focus your perceptions, growing your own sense of proportion, shading, and your own style(s) and expression. We offer a variety of mediums to work with. Collective Effect has offered this workshop as a service to our community for over 5 years. We strive to create a safe space, with an inviting group, periodic breaks to socialize and share your work, with a large group of models we draw from with every different body type. At $10 per artist, we are a perfect place for anyone from any walk of life to come hone your skills and/or explore your creativity. We will often times host themed sessions to challenge and excite the seasoned and novice artists alike. This session, we will be offering a unique challenge that is a staple specific to our workshop. We invite a couple to pose in tasteful emotional intimate poses. We strive to find creative ways to push our artists to grow; Capturing emotion in a drawing goes beyond mechanics and proportion. During the evening, we will provide some tastes of hors-d'oeuvres and wine with some soft music to add to this rich experience. Come challenge yourself and join us!!
