El Taylor Art Presentation at Makers Paradise
The amazing artwork on exhibit is of the very talented late Elouise (“El”) Taylor. WildArt Gallery is the only gallery with the exclusive collection of artwork by El Taylor. I am her daughter, Cecilia (aka “Cissy”). I created this gallery to keep my mom's legacy of her artistic talent alive. Born September 17, 1923, in the San Francisco area, she was the daughter of Dr. Charles Vincent Taylor, Dean of Biological Sciences at Stanford University during the 1920s, '30s, and '40s. Her mom was Lola Taylor, who entertained all the dignitaries, including Einstein, at their elaborate parties at their home on Gerona on the Stanford campus. Elouise studied ballet from age 5 to age 17, and shortly thereafter joined Sonja Henie Hollywood Ice Review, a career (including movies) lasting more than a decade. After raising her three children, she continued professionally as a self-taught artist specializing in wildlife and portraiture. Her medium was oil on canvas. Elouise has blessed us with many fine works, some of which appear at this venue and on this website: www.wildartbyel.com. Sadly, Elouise passed in November 2018 at the age of 95, but her legacy lives on through her magnificent art. Elouise appreciated the art of motion.
