Reno's Biggest Little Improv Class with KidScape Productions invites kids and teens ages 7–17 to jump into an energetic world of creativity, laughter, and spontaneous storytelling.

These weekly drop-in sessions are designed so kids and teens can participate whenever it works for their schedule. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to play, collaborate, and try something new. Through a variety of fast-paced improv games and ensemble exercises, participants learn to think on their feet, communicate clearly, and support one another in a fun, welcoming environment.

Improv is more than acting—it strengthens important life skills. Practicing improvisation activates the brain's prefrontal cortex, the area responsible for decision-making, emotional regulation, and creative problem-solving. Kids and teens naturally build confidence, flexibility, and resilience while learning to stay present and respond in the moment.

KidScape Productions has been empowering youth through performance and experiential learning since 1999, blending theatre arts with communication skills and joyful collaboration.

Classes run Tuesdays from 4:30–6:00 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6695 Mae Anne Avenue in Reno. This class runs year-round, and in celebration of Artown 2026, we are offering special $10 drop-in opportunities in July.
