House of RA Presents: Discover your Vocal Power

Gain confidence in your singing ability as we break through some of the most common barriers for all singers to allow for true vocal expression. Explore primal sounds, breathwork, and a variety of vocal styles with classically trained vocalist and licensed music therapist Eric “Goose” Gieseke, LPMT, MT-BC. Walk away from this workshop with all the tools to truly and fully embrace your own beautiful and unique voice.
Starting with easy to follow vocal warm-ups the session will then transition to a brief explanation of some of the basic elements of singing. Group will then use well-known songs to learn specific vocal techniques and explore various styles of singing. Goose will provide recommendations for further learning with suggestions of videos to watch and even potential coaches and teachers. Participants will then work with each other in dyads and small groups to practice their newfound vocal skills. Group will then conclude with a singing game and group sing-a-long.
