Tuesday Night Session at Ceol Pub

This is the longest-running Irish session in Reno, and features the best players of Celtic trad in town. It's an 'open' session but you may want to attend one first (while having a Guinness, of course!) before grabbing your instrument from the car. Visiting musicians with a variety of instruments (or the occasional Celtic song) are welcome here. Students of traditional instruments are also welcome. Hosted by Kat MacMartin (fiddle) and Sean Morton (pipes and whistles), the tunes are chosen by each musician in the circle, in turn (but you can 'pass' if you don't have one on the top of your head). Cooperative playing is the goal.
