The Artown Board of Directors and Artown’s Directors’ Circle are hosting small art | BIG PARTY, benefitting Artown, with a portion of proceeds also supporting the contributing artists. As the event sponsor, Parlay 6 Brewing Co. is covering all event costs, ensuring 100% of all funds raised benefit Artown and the artists.
WHAT
small art | BIG PARTY is an exciting, interactive, fresh way to admire and purchase original works of art in a fun and approachable way – at a great price. More than 100+ original works of art, all 8x8” in size in varying styles and mediums, will be displayed and available for purchase.

The Par is centrally located in midtown just south of the roundabout at Virginia & Center St. between Rum Sugar Lime and Pizzava. Ample parking is available in the three lots on the corner of Virginia & Mary St., directly across Virginia at the antique store, and immediately behind The Par next to Coffeebar. Convenient and close street parking is also available on Virginia and all surrounding side streets.
WHY
We never need an excuse for a great party, but… artown has showcased world-class talent for the last 30 years, and we’ve met some really incredible artists along the way. small art | BIG PARTY is a way to celebrate artown and support its future, along with the artists whose work deserves the spotlight.
HOW
- buy your tickets here
- $50 per ticket | space is limited
- browse and bid on artwork while enjoying great food, cocktails, music + company
- each auction piece has six numbered spots to add a name
- once filled, a roll of the dice determines who wins the piece… and all are sold for the same $100 price.
The pieces are displayed in sections, and the bidding closes on a new section every 15 minutes, giving you time to see it all and catch the winning bidder on the pieces you love most.
Add your name to a single one or every single one – luck may be on your side to snag all or none, so roll the dice and have a blast.
Also, all art is displayed anonymously, with the artist revealed only after the auction. Some of the contributors are new and gaining significant notoriety, and others already sell their work for thousands – so this is a rare opportunity to acquire some incredible art at an unseen price point.
We’ll have plenty of staff and volunteers on-hand to help out with the logistics each step of the way.
