ARTOWN 2023 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Artown relies on our friendly and committed volunteers. We welcome you to join a team of dedicated folks who love our community, our parks and the arts.

Responsibilities of all Volunteers:

First and foremost - Volunteers are the face of Artown. All volunteers are responsible for being polite, friendly and providing optimal customer service to all patrons. Volunteer duties include:

  • Being ambassadors for Artown while greeting attendees
  • Sales of Artown and artist merchandise
  • Distributing marketing materials and other printed collateral
  • Customer service representative
  • Ushering and wristband application
  • Working with the Keep Artown Free campaign
  • Venue tear-down, clean-up, garbage and recycling

 

Volunteer Benefits. Once you reach 5 hours you will receive the following:

  • SEE GREAT SHOWS AND CONCERT EVENTS FOR FREE
  • VOLUNTEER T-SHIRTS
  • RECOGNITION OF YOUR SERVICE AT THE ANNUAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION DINNER
  • SATISFACTION IN KNOWING THAT YOU HELPED THE COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE AND ENJOY THE ARTS

     

 

Wingfield Park:

  • Opening Night 7/1 - Keep Artown Free and for 2023 printed survey volunteers
  • Closing Night 7/31 - Keep Artown Free and for 2023 printed survey volunteers. 
  • Closing Night 7/31 - Festival equipment Load out after the performance
  • Cultural Connections:  Wednesday Nights 7/5, 12, 19, 26, - Keep Artown Free and for 2023 printed survey volunteers

Mariachi Acero De Las Vegas 7/15

 

  • Gym setup (set out chairs)
  • Gym tear down (put away chairs)
  • Gym clean-up (sweep & mop floors, trash removal)

 

Artown's Midtown Stage at the Brasserie St. James

  • Midtown Concert Series 7/2 and 7/23 - Keep Artown Free and for 2023 printed survey volunteers

 

Reno Public Market

  • Circus Bella 7/8,9 - Keep Artown Free and for 2023 printed survey volunteers
